Distance: 2.3 million light-years
Apparent Magnitude: 9.9
Constellation: Cetus
Object Type: Dwarf Galaxy
What I found interesting about this object is it helps astronomers improve distance measurements to remote objects because the variables stars in it are mostly unobstructed by dust. Plus it’s just interesting to process and look at.
