LDN 43, widely known as the Cosmic Bat Nebula, is a dense dark nebula and stellar nursery located about 1,400 light-years away in the Ophiuchus constellation. Spanning 12 light-years across, its thick cosmic dust absorbs and blocks light, creating a striking silhouette resembling a bat with outstretched wings. Nearly 20 hrs of good LRGB data from the remote Telescope Live observatory in Australia. Pre and Post processing in Pixinsight 1.9.4, with final touches in Paintshop Pro ultimate.
