The M20 nebula, also known as the Trifid Nebula, is a bright star-forming region located about 4,000 to 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius. It is famous for uniquely combining three types of nebulae: a pink emission nebula, a blue reflection nebula, and dark dust lanes
