PN A66 85, CTB1 supernova remnant appearing in Cassiopeia with bright-rimmed globule We2-262 and open cluster King 12.
Recent data and processing techniques have gotten so good that the object itself blends into the background as just a slightly brighter region. I debate with myself whether to choose an inflection point to better contrast the object to the background. In the end, the validity of that point of view seems to be belied by the object We2-262, in this photo, which legitimately contrasts with the background.
