      IC 1284

IC 1284 (Sharpless 37, Ced 157d, Gum 78, RCW 153a and others) is the large Ha nebula located approximately 6,000 light-years away in Sagittarius. The stars in this one are designated as open cluster Dias 5.

vdB 118 (IC 1283, NGC 6589, LBN 46 and others) is the blue reflection nebula closest to IC 1284.

vdB 119 (NGC 6590, Ced 157b, DG 150, LBN 43 and others) is the blue reflection nebula further below vdB 118. This one is also designated as open cluster NGC 6595.

LDN 315 is the dark nebula that surrounds most of all of the above.
