Comet C/2017 K2 (Pan-STARRS) passing M10
The huge, active comet C/2017 K2 (Pan-STARRS) is currently soaring through Ophiuchus. It recently made its closest approach to us on July 14, around 270 million km from Earth.
Yesterday it passed very close to globular cluster Messier 10.
