M63 a.k.a Sunflower Galaxy or NGC 5055, a spiral galaxy of shape SAbc in Canes Ventaci ~29.3 mil ly away, containing ~400 billion stars. Part of M51 group of galaxies. A weakly active galaxy with LINER nucleus, it is unclear if it contains a supermassive black hole at its center.
LRGB 11h 35m (4x13x600s, 8:10:9:8x300s) from SPA-2, an Officina Stellare 700 RC telescope, with FLI PL16803 camera and Astrodon LRGB 2GEN filters on a Officina Stellare equatorial fork mount with absolute encoders and direct drives. Situated in Oria, Spain. Part of telescope.live network. Taken on multiple dates June 2021 - June 2022.
