An image of NGC104, 47 Tucanae. I used an approach demonstrated by Bernard Miller in a Telescope Live tutorial to keep the core from blowing out. Namely, stretch the image until you see the core emerging, create a GAME mask to cover it, then stretch more to get surrounding stars, GAME it again, etc. I'm dissatisfied with the mottled background, but after awhile I said, "Okay, good enough."
