      NGC 1300 One-Click Observations

This is a combination of One-Click Observations from Telescope Live's PlaneWave CDK24/FLI ProLine PL9000 in El Sauce, Chile.

NGC 1300 is a barred spiral galaxy lying at a distance of about 61,000,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation Eridanus. It's also a member of the Eridanus Galaxy Cluster, which contains around 200 galaxies. NGC 1300 is about 110,000 light-years across, making it about the same size as the Milky Way. Interestingly, NGC 1300's nucleus shows what is known as a "Grand-Design", which is a spiral inner structure that is about 3,000 light-years long. It's a spiral within a spiral...hope you can sort of see that in this image.

Anyway, hope ya like my continuing galactic processing journey!
