Hercules Cluster

The Hercules Galaxy Cluster, known as Abell 2151, is a dense galaxy cluster home to approximately 200 galaxies and some 500 million light-years from Earth.

Abell 2151 stands out for its abundance of spiral galaxies, often seen interacting and merging. This makes it a prime location for astronomers to observe and understand the complexities of galaxy evolution and dynamics. Unlike many other galaxy clusters with a symmetrical structure, the Hercules Galaxy Cluster displays a more chaotic arrangement of galaxies.
