    Wide field view of the Pencil Nebula

    The Pencil Nebula (NGC 2736) is a small part of the Vela Supernova Remnant, which occupies the upper half of this image. Several nebulae from the RCW catalogue are visible too (RCW35 to RCW39, see the annotated version). The image is 16 hours integration of Ha and OIII taken with AUS-2 telescope.
