NGC3199 widefield
This is an HST palette image of NGC3199 and environs just east of the Eta Carina nebula. The "banana" or, as I prefer, the "blue crescent" nebula is a fine example of a Wolf-Rayet ring nebula. Of interest in the lower left is a nice bubble planetary nebula, PK283-01.2
