NGC 3521
NGC 3521 a.k.a. Bubble Galaxy.
Discovered in 1784 by the British astronomer William Hershel, NGC 3521 is a floculent galaxy located in the constellation Leo, about 40 million light years away from us. With a diameter of about 50,000 light years, NGC3521 stands out both for its bright star-filled core and for its long spiral arms that host a large number of star-forming regions.
