NGC 3576 is a star-forming region and bright emission nebula in the Milky Way's Sagittarius arm. It's located about 9,000 light-years from Earth, and is about 100 light-years across. The nebula is in the constellation Kiel (Carina) and is made up of gas and dust that's been hit by high-energy light from massive stars.
