This is an image of NGC 3576, also known as the Statue of Liberty Nebula. It is a complex nebula region about 6,000 light years away in the constellation Sagittarius. You can see all three nebula types in this image; emission, reflection, and dark nebulae are all present. It is also approximately 100 light years across.
