      NGC 6302

      NGC 6302 is a bright bipolar planetary nebula in the constellation Scorpius. It is also known as the Bug Nebula, the Butterfly Nebula, and Caldwell 69. It is around 4,000 light years away. It is 390 arc seconds in diameter.
