An extensive SNR that extends across the border between the constellations of Auriga and Taurus. At a distance of almost 3,000 light years and 160 light years across it requires a telescope with a large fov, or, a mosaic to fully accommodate it.
A faint target and one that only starts to show much of its delicate filamentary structure when using narrowband filters.
The SNR has been processed as an HOO image with the stars from SHO using the foraxx palette. A nice but not quite so easy target to process but worthwhile trying.
