The Cosmic Bubble or Dolphin-head nebula for reasons that are pretty clear, is an HII region in the constellation Canis Major. The nebula itself is very strong in the O3 channel and hardly can be seen in the Ha channel. It encapsulates a Wolf-Rayet star named EZ Canis Majoris, a star in its pre-supernova phase. The nebula is about 4530 ly away, some say 5870 ly.
