Sextans A (UGCA 205, PGC 29653, DDO 75) is either a member of the Local Group or the Antlia-Sextans group which is on the edge of the Local Group. It is a small irregular dwarf galaxy.
From the perspective of earth Sextans A is almost square. The clusters of blue stars indicate active star formation.
It is located about 4.4 million LY from earth. Its magnitude is 11. It is about 5,000 LY across.
