Sh2-161 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. it is located on the Perseus Arm and is composed of two distinct nebulae: Sh2-161A, of which most of the parameters are unknown, and Sh2-161B, directly connected with other surrounding nebulae, such as NGC 7538 and Sh2-159, located in the same region as the large association OB Cassiopeia OB2
