NGC 5367 is a reflection nebula in the Centaurus constellation that is part of the cometary globule CG12, located about 2,500 light-years away. The nebula is illuminated by the light of the h4636 binary star system, which is embedded within the surrounding gas and dust. Discovered in 1976, the blue color of the nebula comes from the young, hot stars that scatter the light from the surrounding cosmic cloud. Full details on Astrobin:
