A southern Hemisphere target. Located in the constellation of Scorpius and 6,230 light years from Earth. It is part of a larger nebula, a star-forming region of our Milky Way dominated by hydrogen emissions. This part of the nebula is nicknamed "Fenrir" or "Dark Wolf" due to its striking resemblance to a wolf's head.
