NGC 2626

NGC 2626 is a blue reflection nebula embedded in the Vela Molecular Ridge (in the constellation Vela). It is unusual in that it combines reflection, emission, and absorption components in a relatively compact field. It is between 3,000 and 4,000 light-years from Earth.
