Lagoon Nebula

Messier 8, better known as the Lagoon Nebula, is a vast stellar nursery located about 4,000 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius. Spanning over 100 light-years across, this emission nebula is one of the most active star-forming regions in our galaxy.
