NGC 3576 is a bright emission nebula and an active star forming region, located in the constellation of Carina (Southern Hemisphere), approximately 9,000 light-years away from Earth.
This breathtaking nebula, that I processed in SHO, the Hubble palette, is one of my favorite nebulae of the southern night sky.
If you look in the middle of the nebula, it seems like the Statue of Liberty is rising out of the nebula.
What's your favorite nebula of the southern night sky?
I used the following software: Astro Pixel Processor (stacking) and PixInsight (processing).
Clear Skies!
