      NGC 3347 group of galaxies

      NGC 3358, NGC 3347 and NGC 3354-another triplet of galaxies, in Antlia constellation. They all lie at a distance of about 125 Mly from here.


      Other members of NGC 3347 group: NGC 3347A (PGC 31761), ESO 317-54 and ESO 318-4.


      -NGC 3347 is an elongated barred spiral galaxy, NGC 3358 is a lenticular galaxy and the "small" NGC 3354 is a spiral galaxy. Between NGC 3347 and NGC 3354 can be seen a faint tidal stream, a sign of gravitational interaction.
