M5 (NGC 5904) is a Shapley-Sawyer class V (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley%E2%80%93Sawyer_Concentration_Class) globular cluster located approximately 24,500 light-years away in Serpens.
Luminance – 10x180s – 30 minutes – binned 2x2
RGB – 10:10:11x180s – 30:30:33 minutes each – binned 2x2
123 minutes total exposure – 2 hours 3 minutes
Imaged June 24th, 28th and 29th, 2024 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a QHY 600M on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
