Sh2-34, The Forgotten Nebula

A less prominent nebula in the vicinity of spectacular, iconic nebulae typically receives little attention from astrophotographers. Such is the case for Sh2-34 that is just north of M8 and M20 in Sagittarius. It is shown here in an HST palette. Star cluster, M21, is seen at lower right.
