      NGC 2077

NGC 2077 - or the hellish vestibule of the sky.

NGC 2077 is a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud with a striking appearance. It is dotted with bright nebulae, clouds of gas and dust illuminated by the light of newly formed stars. These nebulae shine brightly due to the ionization of gases such as hydrogen and oxygen, which gives them a distinct glow ranging from shades of red (from hydrogen) to shades of blue or green (from oxygen and other elements). The combination of light creates a captivating palette of colors, making NGC 2077 a visual wonder. It is a very beautiful cosmic object.

There is surprisingly little information about this nebula, despite its close proximity to many others, including the Tarantula Nebula.
