NGC 253

The Sculptor Galaxy (also known as the Silver Coin Galaxy, Silver Dollar Galaxy, NGC 253 or Caldwell 65 - southern sky) is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor at a distance of about 11.6 million light-years from Earth. It was discovered on September 23, 1783 by Caroline Herschel. It is the brightest spiral galaxy in the Sculptor group of galaxies, which is partly due to the fact that it is a star-forming galaxy. NGC 253 is a galaxy with a faint core and very developed spiral arms. The radius of the galaxy's disk is estimated at 81,000 light-years, and the radius of its core is no more than 650 light-years. Despite its high brightness, this galaxy is very dusty, which makes it much more difficult to observe many of its parts. If I'm not mistaken (immodestly of course) this is my best astrophotography image when it comes to galaxies and LRGB colors.
