      NGC 2841

NGC 2841 is an unbarred spiral galaxy in the northern constellation of Ursa Major, approximately 46 million light-years distant from Earth.

It is one of the more massive galaxies known and has a diameter of over 150,000 light-years, even larger than our own Milky Way.

It is a prototypical flocculent spiral galaxy, a type of spiral galaxy whose arms are patchy and discontinuous.
