      NGC5068

NGC 5068 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Hydra, about 33 million light-years away from Earth. It has a diameter of about 100,000 light-years and is classified as a Seyfert galaxy, which means it has a very bright, compact core powered by a supermassive black hole. NGC 5068 is also known for its high rate of star formation, particularly in its spiral arms, which contain numerous clusters of young, hot stars. Image processed from One-click Suggested Observation
