      NGC 6752

      I observed this object on 5 January 2014 at Havelock North in New Zealand using an Explore Scientific ED80 Refractor: NGC 6752 is faint. The core appeared to be highly concentrated. Rich halo.

      NGC 6752 is the 4th brightest GC.

      Shapley Sawyer Classification: VI

      Distance: 13,048 LY

      Type: Halo Globular

      Position w.r.t. core of galaxy: Below the MY disc and about half of the way towards the core.

      Any stars resolved: No

      Undergoing Core Collapse: Yes
