NGC 7293 Helix Nebula
The helix nebula, nicknamed the "eye of god", is a planetary nebula located in the constellation of Aquarius. This object is one of the closest and brightest planetary nebulae to earth at roughly 655 light years away.
This image was created from 3 10 minute narrowband images (1 ha, 1 oiii, 1 sii) utilizing Peter Jenkins pro dataset from telescope.live. The telescope used to capture these images was a ASA RC-1000AZ 1 meter Ritchey-chretien.
