NGC 5367 is a reflection nebula located in the constellation Centaurus, approximately 2,000 light-years from Earth. It is part of a larger dark molecular cloud complex known as Cometary Globule CG 12. The nebula reflects the light of nearby young stars forming within the cloud and is characterized by its soft blue glow and surrounding dark dust lanes. NGC 5367 is a site of active star formation and offers astronomers a glimpse into the early stages of stellar evolution within isolated cloud structures.
