NGC 1313 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Reticulum. It is known for its irregular shape and active star-forming regions. Sometimes called the “Topsy-Turvy Galaxy” because of its distorted structure, NGC 1313 lies about 13 million light-years from Earth. Its peculiar morphology is believed to result from gravitational interactions or past mergers, making it an interesting object for studying galaxy dynamics and star formation.
