RCW 19 (GUM 10) is an emission nebula that lies in an isolated rather dull region in Puppis. It is part of a giant molecular cloud located at ~10,000 LY. The molecular cloud is related to the O7f giant star HD 69464 which is near the center of this image. SHO palette.
