      NGC1398 (LRGB)

      NGC 1398 is an isolated barred spiral galaxy with a double ring structure. It is located in the southern hemisphere Fornax, 65 million light years from our home planet. This deep image shows two faint arms that almost encase the rest of the galaxy. Over 11 hrs of LRGB data from TL's PlaneWave CDK24 at El Sauce Obs., Chile.
