NGC 6744, one of the largest spiral galaxies in the local Universe, is considered a replica of the Milky Way in its vicinity, exhibiting remarkable star formation, flocculated (fluffy) arms, and an elongated nucleus.
Like the Milky Way, it has a distorted satellite galaxy named NGC 6744A, similar to one of the Magellanic Clouds. You can see it in the top left of the image.
