M100, also called the blow dryer galaxy or mirror galaxy, is a grand design spiral galaxy found in Coma Berenices 55 million light years distant. It is a difficult target for binoculars due to its low surface brightness but can be spotted with a small telescope. Larger aperture scopes can reveal dust lanes and core details with long enough exposure time. It is presented here in standard LRGB format. Software: Astro Pixel Processor, Pixinsight, RC-Astro, and Photoshop.
