NGC 1975 - The Running Man Nebula

This is an image of NGC 1975, also known as the Running Man Nebula. It is a nebula complex about 1,500 light years away in the constellation Orion. It is located about a half a degree north of M42, the Orion Nebula. This dataset comprises almost 19 hours of exposure time.
