UGCA 205 - Sextans A Dwarf Galaxy

UGCA 205, also known as Sextans A, DDO 75 and PGC 29653, is a dwarf irregular galaxy located about 4.31 million light-years away in the constellation Sextans. Discovered by Fritz Zwicky in 1942, it lies on the outskirts of the Local Group as part of the NGC 3109 subgroup. Roughly 5,000–8,000 light-years across, Sextans A is noted for its unusually "square" appearance, traced by chains of young blue star clusters along expanding star-forming shells.

This 7-hour LRGB image was acquired from Telescope Live’s site at El Sauce Observatory in Chile using 24-inch PlaneWave CDK24, capturing the galaxy’s patchy H II regions and clumpy stellar associations despite its low surface brightness. Apart from a few pesky dust donuts I had no major issues with processing of this dataset.
