The Orion Nebula (M42) is a bright, visible "stellar nursery" within the Orion constellation's sword, located south of Orion's Belt. It's one of the closest regions of massive star formation to Earth, containing thousands of stars, including the four young, powerful stars of the Trapezium cluster that sculpt the nebula with their radiation. The nebula is a mix of glowing gas and dark dust, allowing astronomers to study the entire lifecycle of star birth. My 1st attempt at the closeup in Ha+LRGB, enjoy! Full details on Astrobin:
