Zoom into Great Barred Spiral Galaxy
The constellation Fornax hosts a variety of galaxy targets-none of which are more prominent than this one. NGC 1365 has probably the most pronounced central bar of any galaxy. Here, it is cropped in for all the details. There are two datasets combined: CHI-1 and CHI-3.
