The Dark Shark Nebula (LDN 1235) is a famous dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus, known for its distinctive shark-like silhouette formed by thick interstellar dust blocking background starlight. Located about 650 light-years away, it's a challenging but beautiful astrophotography target, featuring blue reflection nebulae (vdB 149 and vdB 150) that highlight the dust and gas, hinting at a star-forming region.
