Arp 273 is located 300 million light-years away in the direction of the constellation Andromeda and is a pair of spiral galaxies registered in the Catalog of Peculiar Galaxies (Arp). The pair consists of UGC1810, which is almost head-on, and its companion galaxy UGC1813. The beautiful spiral arms of UGC1810 are particularly distinctive, as they are distorted by the gravity of the companion galaxy, making them look like an illustrated rose.
