NGC 1398, Barred Spiral Galaxy

NGC 1398 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Fornax. It is 65 Million Light Years away. NGC 1398 has a double ring structure. The inner ring is composed mainly of cool older stars that are yellow in color. The outer ring is mainly composed of young hot blue stars. (European Southern Observatory)
