The Running Man
directly above m42 in Orion's sword is the reflection object NGC 1975, sometimes called the running man nebula. It has both emission and reflective properties. Its blue reflection mainly comes from the bright blue main-sequence star 42 Orionis, which is visible to the naked eye.
