Two quiescent filaments Sept 26 2026
Two separate quiescent filaments captured Sept 26 2026. The first shows footpoints down into the lower chromosphere while the second appears uniformly suspended above the surface. In both photos fibrils are clearly defined. This structures form in quiet regions of the Sun away from sunspots. Dataset includes two raw TIFFs and the finished jpgs. Seeing 4/5
