Horsehead Nebula B33

This nebula consists of a cloud of ionized gas lit from within by hot, young stars, A dark cloud if interstellar dust that lies in front and has a shape resembling a horse's head. Located about 1300 light- years from the Sun it has a diameter of approximately 13 light years.
